Before you do anything rash, I’d like to point out that it was entirely an accident. We would never intentionally to put him in harm’s way– rather, there was no risk of injury in going to the park. And he wanted to tag along which I believe is very important because we had to allow him to exercise his agency.  Of course bigotry is not limited to only a certain area and I take full responsibility for the chaos that ensued. I am honestly unsure of how it escalated but the point is, Gavroche’s a little worse for wear.
