Jehan grinned a bit. “Maybe.”
They tossed the water bottle to Enjolras, pausing to take a sip from their own. Running around all day as a feline can get tiring, after all. They grabbed their food and followed along with Enjolras, waving to people and saying hi.
When they were off in the corner, they begin to eat, practically stuffing their face. “Hm?” they ask around a mouthful of ham and cheese. They finish eating and then shrugged. “That’s a hard one. I saw a pretty convincing warlock but I think that might be Joly. Besides, can anyone measure up to this cat costume?”

The party is in full swing, Enjolras
spots the tail of Combeferre’s cape
before he disappears down the hall-
way. It’s a good thing he’s already
said hi to most of them. Enjolras has
a feeling the next time he sees the
rest of their ragtag bunch of friends
it’ll be when they’re more inebriated.
“Isn’t Joly the Santa?” He points out
before shaking his head, taking the
time to swallow his own mouthful.
“–Wait, that was Bahorel, nevermind.”
He grins a little bit, half shrugs as
his eyes flit to the bicorne Jehan
still has on his head. Without it,
Enjolras is pretty costume-less but
he can’t quite stifle the fond. “Cats
are in the rage, now, right? Especially
Emperor Cats. I think you win.”
