Jehan perked up a bit at the sound of his voice. Did he want the kiss? Did he like it? They listened to him, offering a small smile in return looking at their now empty tea cup. They nodded slightly.
“Tea, yes please. And, um. Do not feel you have to change. It was my fault. I.. It’s nice, seeing people excited about what they like. I won’t do it again.
I mean, unless it was asked of me.”
They aren’t sure why they added the last part.
Perhaps it felt right to say.

he moves to refill their teapot, the
privacy of the kitchen providing him
a moment of quietude with his own
thoughts before heading out again.

he pours some into Jehan’s mug.
